When and where is the event?

The inaugural Joe Weider's Olympia Cheer Championships will be held September 25–26, 2026, at the Las Vegas Convention Center during the legendary Mr. Olympia Weekend.
Who can compete?

Athletes of all ages are welcome! We offer divisions for:

Competition

What events take place on Friday?

Friday is Cash Day and features:

  • Individual Cheer
  • Partner Stunts
  • Group Stunts

Athletes will compete for their share of $50,000 in cash prizes and bid boosts. Bring your best performance and compete on one of the biggest stages in cheerleading.
What events take place on Saturday?

Saturday is Team Competition Day, where teams compete for valuable Bid Boosts, championship titles, and awards.
How much prize money is being awarded?

A total of $50,000 will be awarded in cash prizes and bid boosts throughout the championship weekend.
Is the prize money guaranteed?

Yes! Prize money and bid boosts will be awarded regardless of the number of entries in each eligible division.

Judging

What type of floor will be used?

The competition will be held on a professional spring floor.
How are routines judged?

Judges evaluate routines based on:

  • Technique
  • Difficulty
  • Execution
  • Choreography
  • Overall Performance
  • Presentation

Athletes are rewarded for both difficulty and clean execution.
Is there a published scoring rubric?

Divisions are judged by age and skill level using professional scoring criteria that emphasize execution, technique, and degree of difficulty.

Where should we stay?

The Fontainebleau Las Vegas is the official host hotel of the Joe Weider's Olympia Cheer Championships.

Can spectators attend?

Absolutely! Friends, family, coaches, and fans are encouraged to attend and cheer on the athletes throughout the weekend.
How do I purchase spectator tickets?

The Olympia Cheer Championships are held inside the Olympia World Fitness Expo at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

All spectators must purchase an Expo Pass for admission.

Will there be special guest appearances?

Will there be vendors?

Yes! The Olympia World Fitness Expo will feature hundreds of exhibitors, cheer vendors, apparel companies, fitness brands, sponsors, food vendors, giveaways, and exciting experiences throughout the weekend.
Is parking available?

Yes. Parking is available at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Standard parking rates apply.

Coaches

How do coaches register?

Coaches register as part of their team's online registration.
Will coaches receive credentials?

Yes. Registered coaches will receive official coach credentials for event access.

Travel

Which airport should we fly into?

We recommend flying into Harry Reid International Airport (LAS), located approximately 10–15 minutes from the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Media

Will professional photos and videos be available?

Yes. Official event photography and media information will be announced prior to the championships.
